I have samsung 46inch series 6 lcd tv. I’ve got to tell you there’s no that much difference between the two. It just the this LED tv is quite thinner and it consumes less energy that the series 6. But in terms of picture quality you can’t barely see the difference.

@pazimpinlord The LED back lighting is the best thing about tv’s like this! the main achilles heel of most large flat screen tv’s is the fluorescent tube back lighting! its the first thing to break and it usually costs more than the tv is worth to repair

This tv has a led backlighting system. This is not a real led tv because led’s are much too big to fit inside a convention tv. Many bright lighted billboards are LED screens because billboards are very big and can use them. The term LED tv for a flat screen lcd tv is a gimmick. LED backlighting does increase color quality though. but even though a tv has LED backlighting, it does not mean it is a LED tv.

HAHAHA!! I don’t know if you remember me. But!! You are 100% correct!!. They have a rate fail higher than the Xbox!! There is a defect in the motherbaord. The TV begains to click. A few days later DEAD. Samsung knows about the problem & has replacement parts on hand. This is a well known problem with the LED line of TVs. My co-worker’s LED died last week. My cousin’s 4 days ago. Whats really funny about this is, Samsung has moved on to a new model. And will not make the Luxia we know anymore!!
